Aug 10, 4:11 PM EDT Contacted by a Sam Johnson stating he was from PNC mortgage underwriting department. Told me I had been approved for trial plan for loss mitigation, which I had been going through HAMP program and received assistance with mortgage payments through Save My Ky home unemployment bridge program. He informed me that HAMP had further reduced my interest rate, that my payments were $710 / month for trial period of 3 months. I was told to make payments via money gram Given name of person to send it to and location. The last one I sent in July was actually a 4th payment I sent to Bray Ryan. In Macon Georgia. I was told that was the last of my trial payments and I would receive documentation fromPNC regarding double payments made of $957 by Save my Ky home and $710 from Hamp. I did receive receipts after first 2 payments, appears kefir with PNC mortgage logo however when Mr johnson called me again this month now telling me I had to make trial payments tDec2016, I contacted PNC mortgage. They inform me that neither HAMP or PNC will ever ask for money over the phone ( they contacted HAMP rep while I was on the line and conferences them in) They also verified this. I also learned t hat PNC mortgage has no offices or underwriting department west of Ohio Mr Sam Johnson, another man named Adam and a female answer all calls. They have a British accent with Indian or Pakistani inflection Phone numbers I have are 855-308-0189. Mr Johsnon tells me his PNC ID is 2988 however PNC employee ID s are a number and letter combination. Please investigating ate so this doesn't happen to any one else. I've probably lost the $2840 that he's taken from me, but I don't want anyone else to be scammed and I would love to find him myself. If anyone from any bank asks you to send money anywhere other than your bank, verify with your bank first. The scammers will threaten loss of home and mortgage but don't believe him
