Sam Liu, Scammer On Craiglist, Deltona Florida
Beware of guy named Sam Liu on craiglist.com He will tell sellers that he wants to buy the item listed and to remove it from craiglist. Then, he sends a forged check in large amounts. Mine was for a set of Magic Cards. I was asking $150 and he offered $300. Then, he sent an overnight FedEx check for $2,850. He requested me to cash the check, wire him $2350 from Western Union and keep the rest for my troubles.
This is a scam. I contacted the company from which the check was produced. They have contacted the police and are filing a report.
The FedEx package containing the check was mailed from Loongwood, Florida. I was to mail the Western Union money to:
