Takes investment to spec drill 18K, then 7k to build road and support, claims progress is happening and money coming, but never receive and cannot verify. No reports, or statements, updates etc.
His relatives get sick, so out of town a lot, and it rains all the time in Texas which prevents consistent work being done.
Provide a fake contractor for his controller who does not answer the phone, respond to email, or texts.

Put in 25K. got 645 dollars in 'sold oil'. Billed 3K in operating expense....oil is always just around the corner. Writing this b***h off. Sam is unable to produce legitimate tax documents.

Shortly after posting, I did receive a statement and confirmed the afore mentioned monies had been deposited into an account. It took some doing, but Phillips66 and Sam Roden worked to clear the matter up.
Sam is a sincere guy, that I do believe tries to do his best for his investors. However, his skills lie more in the sales side of the house and less with operations or management.
