Complaint Review: Sam's Club

Sam's Club Butcher'd by Meat Department FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA 92708 California

Two bad experiences at Sam's Club in the last few months.

1st: I bought a box of frozen hamburger patties labeled "Angus Beef"
When I got home home and saw the very small print on the back, it stated that it had fillers, soy, bread crumbs, preservatives. Very misleading and deceptively labeled.

2nd: Today I got home after buying a bulk package of "short ribs" that looked good through the plastic wrap. When I opened them, there were 10 ribs without meat underneath. This padding the pack is very deceptive. Not only does it weigh down the package, but you are not getting what you thought you saw through the plastic.

1. Any supermarket, deli, warehouse club, even restaurants all have the same thing.. Angus beef, and with the market price of foods being so high, you're getting fillers everywhere... so get over it...

2. If the short ribs were sold by weight, by law, (and if you think it's wrong, call your county's weights and measurements dept) NO ONE can charge for the packaging... and I know that Sams Club policy is to follow the law when it comes to W&M, and if it was labelled incorrectly, for whatever reason, you should have gone right to member services, and then called W&M
