My name is Mollie Vega, mother of Raul Vega (9 yrs. old), who was overdosed by their Pharmacist "Joe". Raul was recently diagnosed with Dermatomyositis (MDA) and was started on auto-immune therapy drug treatment.

He immediately complained of "bad" stomach pain, intense headaches, etc. I notified Neurologist; was told to watch him. Next morning he awoke with bruises on his forehead and top of his foot. Doctor told us to come in; after an examination, we found the Dr. had prescribed him 37.5 mg of Imuran. Pharmacist had given us 50 mg. @ 3x's a day. He was taking three times more than required. His bone marrow when through "shock".

Immediately a representative (Bonnie Lowe)from Claim's Management, Inc., contacted me to take my report even though I hadn't asked for such a thing. The representative would not grant us doctor visits and testing to ensure his health was not jeopardized in any way. She offered $5,000.00 so they can wipe their hands clean of their mistake. This went on for about 7 months, I asked to speak with a supervisor (Linda Henderson). I was upset and explained why, she told me that if I had asked for her sooner she would have granted the testing. (We had no insurance throughout this ordeal.) She has since offered $6,000.00 with our family not know how it affected him, we won't know for years down the road we're told. How can they do this to a child? Wal-Mart claims to be family-oriented but everyone needs to know the truth.

I am pleading for help with them.

Sincerely,

Mollie
