sam s lupowitz-entertainment inc. sought out investors and did not keep finincial records,claimed the poor economy put him out of business and started another venture in the saame poor economy. claimes the ompany is defunked,did not notify many other investors of this fact and now is starting another business as of 9/9/2013. incorporated in alaska and alaska has now closed the corp.due to being a dormant acount. one does not have to be a qualified investor to participate, he will takke mony from any one willing to trust him. he used a firm that was not licensed to find investors. the firm's workers were eventuallycaught and convicted for selling securities with out a license. Sam lupowitz created Entertainment Inc. and incorporated in Alaska. California addresses were used on letter heads but I was never able to make contact with anyone there. Many investors including my self invested in an off broadway play. the star of the play was in the picking when I invested. the papers presented were of high quality and the DVD was very impressive. Many people from here in MI invested in this play.. were making plans to go to NY to see the play andwere very excited when the person who was to be the star was picked. this was in the 3rd quarter of 2008. then lo and behold the investors were told that because of the poor economy, that the plaay was canceled. mean while in the fall of 2008 with the same Poor economy, Sam lupowitz was promoting a raido program, called the Sam show or sommething to that effect.
When I contacted Sam, to inquire about my investment,a few years later, he told me that entertainment inc. went belly up. I asked for specific info. that all stock holders were entitled to, yes I have stock certificates, he told me that he did not keep records and that he woulld have to hire a book keeper to put together dollar figures from memory. I wanted a list of other investors....the amount of mony collected to work with, expences and copies of tax records....etc..none of which I got. he told me that he did not have this inf. we comunicated by e-mail so I have all of this in writing.
Now I see that as of Sept of this year he has started another company in FL. I know many of his investors here in MI that have not yet been informed that their investment from 2008 is worthless.
