We had booked a technician to identify the issue with our washer in the condo. The technician arrived and diagnosed the issue and told us we need a specific part, which his company could order and we could get repaired. I asked him the details of the part, to which he said - he doens't know and his company will give us a quote. 

They gave us a quote and told us it will take 3-5 business days to arrive and they can install it. Without any details on which part are they ordering. I told him to give us the detail of what part we need so I make a decision to either order it myself or go with thier company. 

I asked him to provide me with the part details so I can check if I can get it myself. To which he said he doesnt know. He asked me to talk to the company regarding that. I paid him for his services and said, I will decide and let him know if I am going to either order the part myself and get it installed by them or I will order the part from them and get it installed.

My husband called the company to find out what part we needed. They said they cannot give us the part detail coz we will then do it ourself. To which, we said, we are entiled to know which part needs to be fixed in our washer and it is our decision on the next steps. We have already paid for your services to diagnose the issue and their end of deal is to help us make an informed decision on how to proceed. 

I couldnt get in touch with the manager and the person on the phone told me"Don't call tomorrow, you have already pissed me off!"

The technician was rude and the person on the phone was even worse.
