Samsung Deny Service/Replacement of Defective Warrantied TV Internet

I purchased a Plasma Samsung last summer.  We started using it last September when we moved into our new apartment.  Approximately 2 months ago, the TV shut off and would not turn back on.  We called Samsung.  They sent a repair person from ATV who advised us that the TV overheated and the Plasma cracked.

Samsung advised us that we needed to send pictures so that there team can review and determine whether it was physical damage, despite the fact that their agent just reported that the plasma over heated causing the damage.  Luckily the screen was intact and no one got hurt.  However, based on pictures, Samsung determined there was physical damage and refuses to stand by their product. 

This is a new TV and there was no physical damage.  This is an expense product and its extremely upsetting that such a determination was made on pictures, discrediting the conclusions of their own repair people.  Not to mention that the company gave us the run around for over 6 weeks.
