I had my phone for 3 days and dropped it.  It hit on the corner and shattered the back.  I have never ever broken or cracked a phone before.  Ive had the Note 3 for 3 years and I have never had any problems.  I was waiting for the Note 7...that was a fail.  I said I would wait for the Note 8 but got anxious and got the S8 Plus.  The infinity screen is THE WORST feature.  What it is even for???  All the cases dont even protect the screen. And from what Im reading the screen protector hasn't been helping either.  Sprint said the damage was cosmetic so they wouldn't fix it but if it has been the screen it would have been $106.  If wanted to just replace the phone it was going to be $250 for the deductible.  I called Samsung and they said any physical damage voids the warranty.  Well how convenient!! I am still waiting on my repair but the quote is $70.  They should have let people know that the glass is fragile.  I honestly didn't even think it was glass until it cracked.  I hadn't really thought about it. My Note has "leather" back.  They should recall the phones or offer refunds or trades.  I feel like there should be some sort of class action lawsuit or something.  This is ridiculous.

I think they may have made these phones as cheap as possible to make up for the money they lost with the Note 7.  You can find hundreds of complaints about the glass on the S8 plus.  Some people have broken their phones more than once.  Id also like to point that many people say that you need to have a OutterBox case on your phone.  They say you need to cover your phone that you paid $800.00 for. When you see cell phone commercials, you never see a case on these phones. Now although most people do get a case was there was warning anywhere saying that you need a case.  I just saw a commercial for the S8 Plus where the guy had his phone on the beach and he rolled over on it...no case.  Again you can find other forums in which people are complaining and having to pay for repairs ranging from $70-250.00.  Samsung has a community page where you can find some of them.
