Samuel Racina ripoff Sent him $$ no motorcycle parts sent to me on ebay Healdsburg California
In July I won an auction for a wirng harness from this guy. Well, we sent off our $ in the form of a Postal Money order like the guy specified. He had perfect feedback up until that point. I guess we were the one's to change his mind or something. From the time I sent the $$, he quit sending out parts. I wasn't the only one this guy scammed. There were at least 6 or 7 other people that filed negative feedback on him after me. The part that sucks most is that my part was $24.99, one penny under ebays buyer protection program. So, ebay couldn't do a thing for me. I still filed, so hopefully he'll have a strike against him.
He is now no longer a member, but I thought I'd file this anyway, just in case someone wins an auction and this guy's name comes up. They may want to think twice about sending the money, they may never get what they paid for. I followed up on the Postal Money order, and from what I can read on it, it was cashed for somewhere called "instant pool cards" or something like that. The post office's copy isn't that great. Maybe someone that lives around there can clarify if that's a business or what? I filed a complaint w/the postal inspector, hopefully that gets me somewhere. Going to the sheriff here, he says it's just a civil matter. I think I'm going probably have to try small claims. At least that way I might have a judgement. I'm sure a guy from CA isn't going to drive all the way to SD over $50(with court costs). (especially if he's scamming people)

The information to send me payment should be in your credit report under judgements. I got one a few years ago after all attempts to contact you failed. You can send the funds there. I am the person you owe either the parts or money to.

I would love to settle this, but I still have not received any sort of contact. I posted my phone number and I have yet to hear from this person. I have no contact information for me to pursue, let alone an email address. So what am I suppose to do here? ripoffreports won't delete records and it is clearly a lousy way to handle these sort of situations.
$25 doesn't mean anything to me. I would love more than anything to send someone $25 if it would make them the happiest person in the world. I have donated hundreds to charities, usually as an impulse and it feels good to do because it's just simply... the right thing to do.
These matters are now out of my control.
To this day I refuse to do business on ebay. Buyers and sellers alike get scammed. The fees are terrible and the support is just as nasty unless your a huge ebay store making thousands of dollars a month. I have spent hours trying to get ebay to fix a mistake they made. If they wanted to lock me out of my account and deny me buyers personal information, then so be it. I am one to blame for this incident though. It was my fault I tried to sell my things on ebay and not person to person.
Well thats it! More wasted time and energy.

The address for that place is the exact same address he gave me to send the MO to!! I smell a rat!! I am planning on going up to the courthouse first thing in the morning. (I'm writing this at about 9pm) We're going to file small claims and see what we can get out of it. If he does own the business, the way it sounds CA has some different tacticts for execution on a small claim judgement than they do here in SD. I'm guessing I could also add the extra costs onto it too.
And as far as the person who was saying about gambling on ebay, the part I was trying to find, I CANNOT find around here, they don't make them anymore. I pretty much have to search online for the part, whether it be ebay, or another online parts house. It is for an old Jap motorcycle I'm rebuilding MYSELF. I have a local dealership that I go to for other parts, they usually have them in stock, but this is a part that they don't make aftermarket and they didn't happen to have it in their "boneyard". So, YES, I will take my chances, it is a hobby of mine. You can say I gamble, I just don't go to Vegas to do it or lose quite as much. lol

And, from the looks of things, you have less than a 50% chance of actually getting what you ordered, as it was represented on ebay.
Feeling lucky? Roll the dice and take your chances.
But, don't be surprised if you lose.
At best, buying on ebay is a gamble. Don't go there if you aren't willing to take the risk.
