I recieved an official looking letter from Sanborn Financial Services & Consultants from Colorado Springs, Co. Said I was selected through a computerized ballot system drawnon Readers Digest Publisher's Clearing house and others. I noticed the postmark and stamp were from Canada-1st red flag. The check was very official looking from Bank of America for $3988.95 to cover administrative taxes and Clearance fees of your winnings. Said I won $57,000. Called the number, 514-574-2601, to validate the check and was told to deposit it in my account in the morning. When the check cleared my bank I was to call this number back with my clam number (keep it secret!) to find out what to do next. I wondered if it was a hoax and did some research online. First, the number is a cell phone out of Montreal, second red flag. The exact name if the institution did not come up in the research. I called Ms. Teresa Robinson back and asked her why she wanted to rip people off like this. I said I knew this was a cell phone and it was out of Montreal but the office is in Co. She told me "If you know where we are why don't you come up here and get us you little b****!" Of course she hung up on me. When you get an official looking check and are told to deposit it then call them back, watch out! Jennie Asheboro, North Carolina
