sanchez perez m amanwi godric ambesi, english bulldog scam, Internet
I was a victim of an internet scam yesterday. I replied to a post at adpost.com about an english bulldog puppy. the so called owner and i corresponded over many emails throughout the day. I was told the puppy would be flying via pet airways.
I looked up pet airways and found it to be a legitimate pet flying company. so i went ahead and had money transferd to them. however after i sent my payment of $380 for the puppies flight i was contacted via email by them claming to be northwest regional airport arkansas in which they told that the airline out of arkansas needed an additional $550 for insurance on the puppy or it couldn't be sent. this is when i started becoming nervous.
I then proceded to contact the airline via telephone call to discuss this matter and was told that they never sent me an email and that it is not their policy that requires the puppy to be insured like my email stated. It was at that moment i realized that my worst fears had come true and i was now a victim of a scam.
I am heart broken, crying as i type this. my whole life i have wanted a bully puppy and i though for sure it was going to happen. these people are using legitimate business to conduct their scams. The money is not the concern but rather the fact that i did my research like i was supposed to and still was scammed.
