Complaint Review: Sanctuaria

I do not support this place of business. The staff and waitresses are nice but the environment of the workers are not. The owner of this establishment is the same one who owns Diablitos on Laclede, Hendricks bbq in Saint Charles, and Cafe Ventana. The owner is an Indian and he has a PHD. Sounds great huh? Well not exactly. His hardest worker was diagnosed with Diabetes and he was let go and told "Keep your personal problems at home!" How can you keep an illness at home? This worker was salaried and top of his class...best cook at Hendricks. Then another incident happened at Sanctuaria where another worker whom was appreciated for his work, time, and his overall performance, he became sick and needed surgery. Out for only 4 days with no previous history of calling off, he was fired through text message with the him being ill as the reason. They are now denying this man of unemployment. Luckily, the unemployment wanted the texts as proof and proof theu received! The manager Ricki wanted the text messages because she knew that her a*s wouldnt be covered. I wouldnt expect for a doctor to run his business like this and fire ill people. You would think you could sue but its hard in the Missouri to find someone who would take a a suit for food industry and with Missouri being a right  to work state. So I womt support thier pockets.. and hopefully you wont either. Oh and p.s. The workers at the Sanctuaria Location use drugs (medicinal mary jane)  and when they arent feeling well the manager allows them to go and get high so they will be fine to work. Dont believe me? Sit and watch one day without no distractions. Look at their blood shot red eyes around 8pm.
