Santa barbara bank is accusing me of recieving $4700 in 2003 tax return they claim the irs never paid them for so they are trying to take my 2012 tax return for reinbursment. The problem with this is i file taxes every year why after almost ten years this is coming up, secondly my tax return in 2003 was $970 sent to me through the mail i am debt free when it comes to the IRS and i dont know where this bogus outrageous amount is coming from but i am not paying for sonething i did not do. Then i come to this site and see all the many many claims against them i am going to fight this times are to hard to have a bank just take your money because they feel they have the power to do so the devil is a liar!!!!

Check with IRS

I have a feeling that someone else filed income taxes under your name in the same year as well. You may need to check with IRS about it. However, the IRS won't take responsibility on this problem. They simply reflects the problem to those tax payers to dig and find the source instead. In other words, it is not their problem but the tax payers' problem... Sadly...
