Santa Lucia Security Company ripoff lottery scam Madrid, Spain Other
My husband recieved a letter claiming that he had won money in a lottery(which we had never entered). I got suspicious because they wanted our bank information, so when I searched the company, this site popped up with other complaints from the same company.The letter stated the following:
It was th EL- GORDO DE LA PRIMITIVA LOTTERY PROGRAM
TICKET NUMBER:031-1127-841
SERIAL NUMBER:3214-07
LUCKY NUMBERS DREW:21-22-37-39-41-49
It stated that we had won in the 3rd catergory, which entitled us to a lump sum payout of USD$615,810.00 in cash credited to file with reference number: EG/2551256003/01.
It also stated that this was from a total jackpot of USD$16,621,340.00 shared among 31 international winners in this catergory.
The claims agent I was to contact was: DANIEL MARTINEZ Foreign operation manager SANTA LUCIA SECURITY CO. S.A. on Tel. 011-34 627 897 061 and fax:011-34 657 100 131.
It states that unclaimed money will be returned to MINISTERIO DE ECONOMIA Y HACIENDA.
It was signed by Jose Luis Miguel, Vice President, but it's not even a real signature it is a copy.There was no return address, and my husbands name only appeared on the outside of the letter.
