We financed our car in April of 2005 with United Auto Credit. We have never missed a payment. In April of 2010 Santander bought out our loan with United auto Credit. Santander sent us a statement stating that we had over paid on our account and that our next payment was not due until June 05, 2011.

We were fine with that and went along with it. On Dec. 2, 2010 we recieved a bill on our car from Santander stating that our next payment was DUE on DEC 05,2010. THREE DAYS NOTICE. They refused to let us talk to a supervisor and said that if we do not pay the bill then it will go against our credit.

They have added 40 additional payments to our account. According to our original finance papers we only have 12 payments left. They are not even showing the last payment that we made.

They are calling us liars. They are crooks who should not be allowed to be in Finance. I do not see how it is legal for a company to take over an account and not even have the account holders sign any new papers on the loan.
