I had a contract for an Auto Loan with Santaderconumerusa. The contract had gap insurance, and reqular car insurance. The car was wrecked due to my disabled ankle, because the dealership put me in a manuel transmission, and not an automatic. As I was trying to relearn to drive the car, because I hadn't driven a stick in 16 years, as I was coming up to a red light I was distracted a little. by ankle pain, and lower back pain.

I had to slam on brakes, and the car skidded to a stop into the tires of a Semi cab truck with no haul. As a result the car was totaled. Santader pressured me to make my first payment, so I paid them $500.00 because I didn't know it was all covered by my gap insurance. They breached the contract by demanding I make the 1st payment knowing Gap would cover the loan even my debuctible up to 100% of the value of the loan.

They would cover the deductble up to $1,000.00 and any intrest or fees or payments due. My insurance company paid them $16,500.00. The gap only paid $2,117.00, and Santander stole the 1st payment, which because the car was totaled on July 19th I didn't even have to make it. They grifted me out of $500.00 The gap would have paid $2,617.00 too.

I think the took advantage of me because I also suffer with voices from my time in the military, and a 3 story fall.
