I went to work for santaro and work for two days. They wanted me to go to the landfill and i check the truck for the overweight permit and it didn't have one. When i went into the office to ask where the permit was it was taken by dot. They said they had the copy of it but would not give it to me.

So if you want to lose your license go and work for this company. It's like the other company like i use to work for. There truck a pretty decent and trailer a pretty new. There always hiring drivers. When i told them i wouldn't run illegal they never called me to go back to work. This company is just like wecare transportation. They want you do the same thing. But a different company.
I advise know onje to go to work for these people.

When it comes down to it you're the one who gets into trouble with the law. They like kissers in the office. If you are a kisser you have it made and this job is for you. I went to get my stuff out of the truck and they had it hid behind three other trucks. The lady in the office doesn't know how to handle stress and get very fusterated very easy. Some of the drivers shut there phones off on them. They have junk mack's in there fleet of trucks to just like wecare.

My husband has work for over a yr for this company. He is no A@* kisser. When he runs out of hours then that is it. They DON'T force him to work or do anything he feels is wrong. He might work on Sat. but that is up to him. He has train a drivers who had never done this kind of job. Another expected it to be a pc of cake. He is 54 and can out do many of drivers out there. He knew nothing of this type of work and was a quick learner. He learn to do flatbed by getting thrown into a truck and said go, no training other then the road test for this other company, he was given two days training on working with containers most comanies just put him in a truck when they saw his resume.
As for the conditions of the trucks. First this man says that they are good then says they weren't. Let me tell you they do work on them but when you have a driver who tears of both sets of steps, breaks a PTO unit and so many other things. There are careless drivers out there and companies need to take a good look at these drivers. Jobs for drivers are a dime a dozen but to find GOOD drivers now that is hard to do. These young drivers want everthing handed to them and do nothing for it.
My husband has been driver tractor trailer for over 25 years has had only one non chargable accident in all this time and that was for hitting a deer and no chargable ones. As his wife seeing what that little deer did to the truck I never wanted my husband to drive again. It could have been worse he could have been killed or hurt/killed someone else but he didn't just the poor deer and the truck. He had to get out through the windsheild after he kick it out. This was after he'd only been driver about 2 yrs. I carry the picture of the truck to remind me everyday how lucky I am to still have him. That proved he was a good driver then and even after all these yrs he takes pride in what he does.
The driver he trained was unreachable and would call my husband to see if he heard anything not the comany. This man most likely didn't get a call after the first week because they found out something that he hid on his application. I will not go into what this man hid but if I was the company and found out about it I to would have not called back.
As for the permits the driver only has to ask and if he doesn't have a permit for that trailer then find out how you get it. As for the phones the company will give you one so if you shut them off then you shouldn't expect a call back or when you won't drive for this reason or that why call you back. Landfill, containers, flatbeds, reefers it is a drivers livelihood and if you want to put companies down and must be this driver only work for two it is sad. Yes, there are bad companies out there companies that only care about lining their pockets but there are good ones out there too. So I say if you don't want to work here go somewhere else move on and good luck. Like I said there a dime a dozen, and another thing you need to be able to talk and spell correctly too!!!!
