Complaint Review: Santiago Mansion

We had our event there in February. We were given what we initially thought was a great deal from the owner of the Estate and the planner, Mona. They ruined our fundraiser by pulling our PA system. Yes, actually disconnecting our audio during our event. The bidders were confused and wound up not bidding hence we couldnt raise the money needed; which was why we booked in the first place. The site manager showed up and was yelling in the middle of our event demanding to know who authorized it. It was completely awkward, uncalled for, and it made everyone uncomfortable. Our team felt as if the owners and staff didnt want us there and this sentiment permeated the event. Donations are hard enough to come by these days. Mona rejected any responsibility for the rude and uncomfortable atmosphere nor anything promised to us. I am still suffering in the eyes of my team for being the one who recommended this place. If attitude is everything, these people are nothing.
