I received the same letter today 11/03/15. No clue as to who they are but after seeing all the other posts, looks like some mass mailing as done.

Check with your State's statutes about debt collection. I know that in the State of Texas all debt collectors must have a surety bond on file. Also read the Fair Credit Act information. Bottom feeder debt collectors will do anything to get you to pay them.
