Sarah Channey Against the Wind Ranch sells lame horses McDowell, Virginia
January of 2012 I purchased a grey gelding from Sarah Channey. The horse was lame, I never was able to ride the horse. I kept the grey horse and had x-rays done. Sarah assured me the horse would be fine after 2 shoeings. After a second set of x-rays, the vet confirmed the horse had navicular.
She would not return my $6500. She instead exchanged to me another horse, Darby, dark bay mare.
The mare was partially blind, feet were a disaster, again, Sarah told me after two shoeings the mare would be ok. Well the horse has coffin bone rotation. After 5 months of re-hab I had to put the horse down.
Sarah promised she would reimburse me for the medical bills, $2500. The actual medical on this horse was over $3,000. I haven't heard from Sarah Channey. She misrepresented both horses!! Sarah is a very
dishonest person who will take advantage of anyone she sells a horse to.
Please beware. Oh by the way, the second horse, Darby, I rode the mare one time, so what did I get for my $6500 plus medical, not a riding horse. She lies, and cannot be trusted, please pass along. I wish I had never met this horse dealer, she is just bad news. The worse experience I have ever had.

Sarah lies and should not be trusted, please pass along. Sarah now takes 30 percent on horses not her own. I will not be happy until Sarah has paid me in full. I have never been scamed until I met Sarah, she is a pro. Beware, and don't buy from her. Please feel free to contact me directly.
