STATEMENT FROM SATIC USA:

This is a cruel lie and false claim. We do not sell at dinner seminars. No one tried to call 20 times without the phone being answered. Who asks 5 different electricians. Global Electronics Testing said this is not true and the products are made in Montana and the UL inspector comes quarterly. To Montana not China. All lies by someone simply wanting to cause harm. We only have two ~ I will add that if a 71 year old woman had an issue with $560 we would make it right. We would never let a 71 year old woman be upset over such a small, nominal amount of money. It makes no sense.

NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Beware Consumers, my aunt who is 71 years old purchased a Satic global energy saver in January 2012 from Satic.  She was promised that this so called energy saver would save her 25% on her electric bill. Needless to say that has not happened. She purchased the Unit for $569.00. She has called the Satic office in AZ and MT over 20 times and have not had her calls returned. Then, In july 2014 she recieved a free dinner invitation for a energy seminar, when she attended the company was marketing the same exact product housed in larger gray plastic box for $1495.00. When she pressed the saleman he "swore on his mothers eyes"  that the product will save you 45% on her utility bill "which is a complete lie".   After her dinner seminar debacle she called satic and asked for a refund and was refused.

When she asked if I can help I had my office research Satic only to be further dissapointed. The owner (B.D Erickson) of the company who claims he is a engineer is actually con man. He was a salesman for Anthony Robbins, yes "Anthony Robbins the motovational speaker". My office had the unit inspected by 5 licensed electricians and all of them came to the same conclusion the unit will not save you a penny. My office then sent the unit to Global Electronics Testing Services, LLC who tested and came to the conclusion that the unit will absolutely not give you any energy savings. Besides the unit not giving you a penny of savings Satic claims the unit is built in MT USA, apparently Satic believes taking a product purchased from china and housing it in a plastic case gives them the right to say there products are built in the USA. Through our research we have learned that there products are being purchased from a company named Fuchen in China.

Satic has fooled many customers and many people in Montana. Please beware.

My office has filed a complaint on the behalf of my aunt with the Attorney generals office in Montana. And also filed a complaint with Crimes Against Senior Citizens. Satic and there distributors are making false claims about there products which is the equivalent to snake oil sales.

Im sure they will make a rebuttle statement, but please do your due diligence. If there was a so call majic box that will save you electricity I dont think it was developed by Satic and there con man owner or there Chinese vendor. I believe Siemans or Square D or any leading electrical manufacturers would be first inline with such products.

Libelous report

#3UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, January 23, 2015

I was an intern for Satic in 2012 while working on my Electronics degree from the Missoula College.  Satic has utilized interns from the Missoula College (which was the College of Technology prior to the Missoula College).

My primary duty as an intern was assembly and testing of the products that are sold.  The majority of the device components were from several Montana based companies.  While I was working there was a shortage on capacitors that I know was offset from a different source that most likely was from China.  However, all their components meet UL guidelines and they had a UL inspection while I was an intern.  The ultimate point is their product may contain some components from China but also contains components made in Montana (and meet guidelines to be stated as such).  The report seems to suggest they buy the product from China and just stick a plastic housing on it which is completely false.

As for your claims, you could start by producing the reciept for the product and a copy of the dinner invitation.  I would also want to see written testimony from the 5 licensed electricians (which shouldn't be hard as you have done all this work and research).  You should also be able to present the report provided by Global Electronics Testing Services (GETS), LLC.

That of course is now looking impossible as I just got off the phone with GETS, LLC. and not only do they claim they have never seen that device (not in their system) they also wouldn't have tested it in the first place as they are component level testing service, not a board level testing service.

I would like people who read this report to definitely do their due diligence if they are thinking of buying a Satic product as this report is very misleading as to what the product even does.  I also hope that this report is removed as it definitely appears to be a libelous report.

Another note, I am willing to testify under law that everything I have stated is true.

Satic Manufactures in Montana

#3General Comment

Fri, January 09, 2015

I am an investigative reporter in Missoula, MT and it has come to my attention that a local company, Satic Inc., may have been involved in some questionable business deals.  The report above suggests that the company has been involved with poor customer service and fraudulent claims as to being able to save on electric bills.

I visited Satic and interviewed employees, company executives and several local customers to discuss the issues in this report. Here are the findings from that effort:

  1. Satic Inc. is strictly a manufacturer of energy saving products.  Some of their products are cobranded by other companies.
  2. According to management, Satic Inc. has never done a dinner seminar although companies do exist that do dinner seminars and are resellers of many different products.
  3. Satic is strictly a manufacturer of its products. I personally toured the facility, met with the management team and talked with the production team where they do assembly of their products.
  4. The individual components that go into these products come from various manufacturers many of which are manufactured in the U.S. I observed the production line employees assemble the various components into a finished product. The team explained that their products are UL, FCC and CSA certified as energy management systems and need to adhere to those standards. Management cited that they have never received any components from Fuchen in China.
  5. Mr. Erickson also showed me its marketing materials and there is no guaranteed percentage claim of savings in any of their materials. Rather their emphasis is more on surge protection, power conditioning and lowering EMF. It is not inconceivable, however, that a dealer or reseller could misrepresent their products. Satic admitted it has no control of the price that its resellers charge for their product line. They do have a suggested retail price, however.
  6. In the time I was there, the phone rang several times and was always answered. Mr. Erickson says they have had the same phone number since 2008 and that they pride themselves on both customer service and support. My observation that they were very professional on the phone and routed calls to staff who could be of the most assistance.
  7. Mr. Erickson gave me a demonstration of their products using several different third party meters. In each of those demonstrations the third party meter readings showed reduced EMF and EMI radiation.
  8. The executive team shared third party evaluations that were done with the local College of Technology that verify what their technology can do. They also shared copies of multiple before and after assessments as well as testimonials. All very favorable and many if not most also reported cost savings on their utility bill.
  9. Executives stated that they have not received any notice of complaints from the Montana Attorney General’s Office or from Crimes Against Senior Citizens.

When I was leaving, they requested that whomever had a bad experience please call the company at 406-493-1861 and speak to a company representative. They would like to get pictures as well of the product that was supposedly sold to them and came from Fuchen in China. They would like to have a closer look at this product as it might be that someone was labeling another product with their labeling.

So from this reporter’s perspective, Satic manufactures a product line in Missoula, Montana and does not engage in dinner seminars. Their concern for quality, customer service and third party validation was obvious. My conclusion is that this report is both false and bordering on liable for anonymously posting such false information. The company appears to pride itself on the quality and effectiveness of its product line.
