I HAVE A 1993 SATURN SL2. TALK ABOUT A PLACE WHERE EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR NAME...I WALK IN AND THEY HUG ME, THEY KNOW MY VOICE ON THE PHONE. SURE, I KEEP THEIR POCKETS FULL. THE BASTARDS.

NOT ONLY DOES IT BURN OIL LIKE CRAZY AND IT ALWAYS HAS...BUT I AM ON MY 4TH ALTORNATOR.I HAVE HAD MY CAR FOR 5 YEARS AND EVERYTIME I TAKE IT TO BE SERVICED, I HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK AT LEAST TWICE, IF NOT THREE TIMES TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM THEY SUPPOSEDLY FIXED THE FIRST TIME (NOT).I HAVE TAKEN IT FOR SERVICEING A COUNTLESS NUMBER OF TIMES.

I ALWAYS HAVE THE MECHANICS AT SATURN AND ANOTHER MECHANIC LOOK AT MY CAR IF IT NEEDS SERVICE. BUT WHAT THAY TELL ME IS OPPOSITE OF WHAT MY VERY GOOD MECHANIC FRIEND WHO I TRUST TELLS ME.THEY ALWAYS POINT OUT STUFF THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN FIXED.

IF I HAVE A MALE CALL, THAY SAY I'M WRONG AND MISUNDERSTOOD THEM SO THEY LIE AND SAY SOMETHING ELSE. THEY ARE LIARS, THEY CHANGE THEIR STORIES.

THEY CHARGE SO MUCH AND DON'T LIKE TO FIX THINGS THEY BREAK. THEY LOCKED MY KEYS IN MY CAR, BROKE MY ELECTRIC WINDOW WITH THE SLIM-JIM AND MADE ME PAY FOR IT.

MY A/C WENT OUT ($900), MY TIMING CHAIN ($600), 3 BATTERIES, 3 ALTORNATORS(ON MY 4TH), WINDSHEILD WIPERS, LIFTERS AND SPRINGS ($16 EACH PLUS LABOR), CLUTCH ($900), FUEL FILTER AND PUMP AND MANY OTHER THINGS.

THE FREAKIN CAR IS NO WHERE NEAR WHAT I'VE PUT INTO IT. I MUST HAVE A MIRACLE CAR BECAUSE EVERYTIME I TAKE IT IN I HEAR THE SAME s**t "WE HAVE NEVER SEEN A PROBLEM LIKE THIS BEFORE" THEY ALWAYS SAY THAT.

NOT TO MENTION THE d**n THING OPENS WITH OTHER CAR KEYS (NOT EVEN SATURN). THEIR CRAP.SO ARE THE EMPLOYEES.

I know how you feel. My Mom has a Saturn, and it took them three times to figure out what was going on, at the Saturn in McAllen. She kept bringing her car back because of the warranty. I eventually fixed the problem when she came up to visit me, and from then on she only brings her Saturn to
this dealership which happens to be alright, but they also have their glitches, but I always check up on my Mom's car. I live in Coprpus Christi, and our Saturn dealership is pretty good, it could be better, but nothing severe as of yet. I hope that everything works out for you, if not there is a guy by the name of Sam that works at this Saturn, I am sure that the Saturn.com would list his name in full, he might could help you out. I wish that I knew his last name, but on the goos side there is only one Sam at this Saturn.
Good Luck

The only thing I can't understand is why you keep going back to this shop.

So sorry to hear about the dealer in your area. What a contrast to my dealer who always gets it right the first time.

The only thing I can't understand is why you keep going back to this shop. Your car's almost certainly off warranty, and numerous independent shops do a fine job on Saturns.

The alternator issue was resolved, and you might want to see if the power steering pump may be leaking fluid ruining your alt.

For help with technical issues, please fel free to jin our community and post on our boards. We're at www.saturnfans.com, and have many certified techs who can advise you.

Best wishes.
