This is a warning to anyone even thinking about buying anything at all from Saveology.com.

This online web site that offers deals is horribly poor at delivering what they promise in the timeframe promised, if not outright dishonest and a scam. And, once you have discovered that youve been ripped off, good luck trying to get any service from them, because they will stonewall you with plenty of delay tactics (probably in hopes that you run out of time to dispute it with your credit card company!).

Heres my particular story:

My wife purchased a set of bed sheets from them in mid-April. This set was described as "Egyptian Comfort 1200TC 4-Piece Sheet Set and was listed as 10-15 business days for delivery. 

First of all, it took a month to receive it, long after the supposed 10-15 business days. 

Second, it was NOTHING like we expected based on their description. The sheets were clearly not luxury as promised, and looks about ready to fall apart. They felt terrible to the touch. 1200 thread count? Ha. And Egyptian? Egyptian what? Never mind that the sticker said Made In China. 

BUT, the story doesnt end there. unfortunately my wife ALSO purchased an Octopod (camera tripod) from them. Again, 10-15 business days. Well, here we are a month later and still no Octopod. We contacted customer service several times and have so far been given the runaround (again, maybe in hopes that they could drag this out long enough for it to be beyond the disputable date with Amex, which is 60 days).

So, today, I finally ran out of patience and called the company to request: (a) a refund for the horrible sheet set; and (b) a cancellation of the Octopod order, along with a refund.

Needless to say, they dont particularly like customers wanting their money back, and so we were faced with stonewalling service reps and, when we asked for a supervisor, we got stuck on hold for an obscenely long time, only to get a belligerent supervisor who yelled at us for supposedly expecting too much from their products, and for having the nerve to expect them to stand behind their products. She obstinately refused to take a return on the sheets despite our clear dissatisfaction with the quality AND the time it took to receive it, and when we asked for a cancellation and refund on the Octopod, we were told to wait another 7-10 business days for the cancellation request to get approved. 

Well, having had the experience of what their business days are like, and not wanting to base any hopes on their approval, I simply called American Express and thankfully, the wonderful representatives there were glad to dispute the charge for me, immediately crediting my account with the full amount, and charging it back to those thieves at Saveology.

So, moral of the story: STAY AWAY FROM SAVEOLOGY!!!  Do NOT buy from them, save yourself the time, hassle, money, trouble, heartache, and frustration. I only wish I knew that before!
