SaveologyTech Comcast No contract yet charged for modem Internet

My wife called Comcast to ask if they provide cable television service to our address.  She provided our address information.  The Comcast representative told her they would check, but, in order to provide faster service, could he forward her to their department that provided television modems for cable tv.  She agreed.

Unbeknownst to her she was transferred to SaveologyTech who asked for her information again.  She provided it.

Comcast called back to say they did not service our home and so could not provide service or contract.  Saveology stilled charged us for a tv modem and shipped it to us.  We refused the package and had FedEx return it to them.

We never had a contract or agreement with Comcast.  We have contacted SaveologyTech and they still have not credited our credit card...with no contract and no service ever provided.
