Savings United/Magazine Savings Club senior manager-David Williams. Did not sound American. Sounds Middle Eastern. David Williams-Senior Manager is what he called himself, was very rude and persistant on me giving him permission to charge my credit card. He already knew my credit card number and experation date. David Williams-Senior Manager called my cell phone, he came on very strong and persistant. He spoke very fast. He already had my credit card number and experation date. He would not give me any information, kept interrupting me, very rude individual. He said I called Savings United-that's the name of the company he gave me, and gave my credit card number over the phone to a representative. Then he kept telling me I was going to receive a $400 Target credit card, a $15 gas card, $25 for a visa card, and one more. He spoke so fast, it was very hard to keep up. I kept interrupting him, and asking him what this was about, he never did get to the point. Just kept repeating I contacted his company in July. He also told me just to answer the questions when he was transferring me to the verification department, and then he would answer all my questions and be given a verification number. When I was transferred to the verification department, the name of the company changed to Magazine Savings Club. I did not answer all the questions, so the verification would not go through. He then threatened me, by saying he was going to charge my credit card $49.95 today, if I did not follow his instructions. I told him to stop talking, that he was very rude, and never had a person speak to me in the manner he was. He kept pushing the verification department. So, I went on the internet immediately and found out that this was fraud. I then asked him to hold on. I called my credit card company and had my credit card cancelled and gave them all the information on this company that I had. So, if you get a call from 415-363-5668, be aware. And, be aware of fast talking persistant individuals pushing you to verify information. How he obtained my credit card information is unknown to me. Hopefully, this company can be sued.

He hung up while I was speaking to my credit card company, and left a nasty message that he charged my credit card for $49.95 and knew I cancelled my credit card. Well, he wasn't able to put his charge through, I called the credit card company back, and no charges are submitted.
