Stay away from PrivacyMatters123.com as it is the one that sells you out to Savingsmart.com. Both are fraudulent! Beware of these internet scam companies! These companies steal money from your account every month without you knowing.
When I signed up for my "free" credit report from PrivacyMatters.com, this affiliate company Savingsmart.com somehow got signed on with my credit card and personal info. without me knowing. These sort of companies are the parasitic underbelly of the internet and acquire your info without you knowing that you even signed up. They employ deceitful and hidden tactics that most people would never catch on to.
I called the toll free number for Savingsmart.com to cancel (the only one they have) and all it is is a menu with 2 prompts; one to cancel and one to go back to the main menu. No live help or customer service. I canceled through the phone menu and weeks later they are still charging my account. I also canceled on their web site, but they require all your personal info to do this and make you agree to their terms and conditions before you can cancel (probably another scam).
I hope someone files a class action suit against these pathetic companies. Stay away from PrivacyMatters123.com as it is the one that sells you out to Savingsmart.com. Both are fraudulent!

I dont know if this is some kind of trick, but I listened to the automated service 2-3 times and it then transfered me to a live person! I explained that we did not sign up for the "savingsmart" service and she uncaringly said ok, its cancelled now. I honestly just wanted it done and over with and didnt seek the refund of 7 dollars. Good luck to all!
