Complaint Review: SavMor Rent A Car

I rented a compact from the Las Vegas SavMor in the Tropicana (same company as the airport SavMor a mile away) and was shocked when I received $120 charge for a car that was supposed to be $36 plus 35% taxes.

The main problem is what the service agent was telling me was not at all what was in the fine print on the bill that I signed. I was told the car was $36 a day; the bill said $43. I was told that the gas I used would be refilled at a below market price of about $3; actually the bill stated $5.50 a gallon.

Another problem is that even though I had the car only 5 hours, I was charged a full day, plus a few more hours at a 15 dollar hourly rate.

Don't be fall for their low price quotes. They'll get you in the end.
