SBC - ESBI - ROCTEL ripoff, unauthorized telephone charge San Antonio Texas
My SBC telephone bill for January 2006 has an attachment ESBI Privacy Plus Voicemail Monthly Fee of $16.12 for ROCTEL for 0 minutes. The charge is for so call service "Privacy Plus Voicemail" for monthly service for January 2006.
No one in our family recognized or authorized SBC, ESBI and ROCTEL to charge on our local phone bill. In fact, we did not understand what the Privacy Plus Voicemail offers or can do for us.

You need to call SBC customer service, advise them the charges were not authorized and you want them removed from your bill. THEN ask for the number for corporate. Advise them that unauthorized charges are being added to your bill and you want your bill monitored for further illegal activity. Good luck.
