We received a monthly charge for $15.25 from SBO-Online.org on our 7/08 bill. We had never heard of the company, and when I called their 877 726-4222 number, they said we hadn't responsed to an email, so they signed us up. What kind of a scam is that? Since when does an unread email (that probably landed in the junk folder, if it was ever even sent) count as authorization for anything?

The rep (with Indian accent) that answered the phone said they would cancel the subscription, but would not refund the existing charge. I told them what was on my mind and the rep proceeded to transfer me to a supervisor, who immediately said the charge would be refunded in the next couple months.

Their website - sbo-online.org, looks like a fly-by-night outfit that forgot to use spellcheck (they trademark the site as Small Business Organizatoin (should be Organization) in the footer!)

Unbelievable - if you ever hear from these people steer clear! It astounds me that such an organization is allowed to conduct business.
