Complaint Review: SBS Fun Family Rewards

I made a purchase with Jcpenney Co. on about may/July 2007 for bedding through the catalogue phone number. I was asked to join some club that gave me rewards to save money on gas, departmant stores, and other drug stores as well.
I made it very clear that I am on disability for a severe illness & can not spend any extra funds. I refused very plainly & the call ended. I then got mail from this service called Fun Family Rewards & called again to say I had not authorized any account to be opened. I wwas told it was calcelled/closed.

I have been receiving calls that are offering me tons of different services at a discount from Fun Family Services. I explained that I have no such membership. The agents , 3 in total spoken to, told me I have to call and have it cancelled by an agent via the number 888-527-6839.

I have called that number and identified myself by my home number & first name. I asked why I had a membership, they would not give me the number to the member i.d., I also that it please be cancelled. They give no i.d.number to identify the cancellation just the agent name. I was told Juan was his name. I assumed the matter was done.

I showed another charge on my Visa for another 9.95 in August 2007. I phoned this number again. I asked again for my account to be cancelled. I was given the name 'Juanita' as my confirmation. I has to presume that I would find the refund as stated on my Visa statements within 2 cycles as promised. It was not there. I then got my new bill and again now in December 2007 I have another charge for the same company for November 9.95. This equals 4 charges.

I called the 888 number to speak to a supervisor whos name is Christine. She tols me that she saw no request for cancellation. I explained my being on disability due to severe disease. With that having a fixed budget and not spending any monies not recorded. She stated that she can delate 2 payments off my bills and I had no other billings from thme only 2 at this time.

I looked through my billings and found more than 1 billing going back to July 2007.I called back to another branch of the same company number 888-527-6839 option #4. I spoke to another female & explained my situation she ried to enter 2 more credits for 9.95 and system told her there were no credits available. Though I had 2 more charges she could see right in front of her, the system told her she could not the monies were not available.

I have been chasing receipts, calling JCPenney, looking on the internet, for answers or places where I can find out why I was enrolled & billed for a club I did not join with a reliable company such as JCPenney. I have a special order awaiting delivery and after which I will never be using JCP's company ever again. I will not be scammed by suhc a trashy small time bilk as this. I am now disputing the charges with my Visa holder.

I am now out $40.00 and not very happy but I plan on suing no matter how far I have to go just to make them pay for the aggrivation I have been caused by beign harrassed by this situation,the time & energy I had to spend in fighting with my own monies, and the fact that I am terminally ill. I have no desire in arguing about my own money paid by the state just to have them get involved upon my demise, since it's thier cash after I die, they may well just enjoy being informed? I think I'll let them know ASAP.
