Complaint Review: bernard haldane associates

I lost my job, my first job, as a mechanical engineer- now without much experience and that experience in the aircraft industry I was really panicky.

I went to Bernard Haldane and the guy confirmed by fears - he said some of the same things I'v read about on this report.

After I found this site I was really scard to go back to them but I felt I really needed help so I went back for the second meeting - I took my fiance' the guy was very nice to her and she thought I should have signed up - but after what I read here there was no way they were going to get $2200.00 out of me for the retainer.

I thought I would just give them a bad time and asked for three references - they gave them to me and all three said great and wonderful things about them - they probably paid them.

that was three months ago during the aftermath of sep 11th - I still haven't found a job but at least I didn't get duped by those guys.

So thanks for all the good advice from all you guys on this site, I'v read most of the books recommended here and some others. I'v posted my resume about 300 times to monster and hotjobs and some others so I am confident something will come along soon.
