So here's my story in my own words. And yes, I've been blocked from the scarred guitars facebook page. But there are other pages of his that I can still post on and will until I get blocked on those as well. So about one year 1/2 and ago I ordered a telecaster guitar kit. And that actually come in about 6 weeks later and I built it. It turned out great but was questioning the quality of the pickups etc as those where made in China. So, I then ordered a version of a Gibson 335 in sunburst blue, adding a Bigbsy tailpiece and the (F) holes where triangles. As this was a Dave Grohl tribute guitar that he used in the hurricane Sandy telethon tv event.

So the days went by and the false promised kept coming. And finally I got the guitar in 3 months time. When I got the guitar, I was still questioning the quality of the parts. The actual ttremblo bar come off and I had to take it to my guitar tech for repairs. Love the guitar, but still the quality of parts being used was quetionable. My neighbor approaches me and said that she wanted to buy her boyfriend a guitar for his birthday. So I contact Sean directly and asked him what he in stock and ready to be shipped. So I decided on a guitar that would be a great gift for him.

I sent him the money within 24 hours and told Sean that I needed this guitar in one week. He told me no problem and would be shipped out the next business day. The guitar was actually shipped one week after I paid for it and was 6 days late for his birthday. So I've been wanting a Gibson 337 and I contact Sean in September 2013. We speak about the logistics of the custom designed guitar and the cost. So I send him the money via paypal $550.00 the following day. And after 7 weeks, I ask status of the guitar. He said that his health was bad and was only able to work on the guitars about 3 hours per day. I said ok!

So, we are now at Christmas time 2013 and he says that his shop got broken into all his tools are stolen, including 20-30 guitars....One of them being mine. So, I told him now what? He said that he would rebuildit and get it out to me in one week. So after the next few months of facebook messaging back and forth and many false promises, still no guitar. So around March 2014, he sends me a facebook message and says that he paid all his bills and doesn't have the money to get the parts to finish my guitar. As the parts are locked up in customs and he needed $100.00 to get them out.

So, I then send him the $100.00 to get the parts out of customs. I was trying to be a nice guy and help him out. At that time I was asking him how long until I get my guitar as we are at 6 months now since I paid for the guitar. Sean then posts on facebook a picture of a Blue Jackson Dinky with a Floyd Rose. I then told Sean that I wanted to buy it. He has it for sale for $200.00 So, if I wanted it, I have to send him $100.00 plus shipping and he he would put the $100.00 that he owed me in the guitar case when it was shipped. After that no communication on his end. So, I did a paypal dispute to get my $100.00 back and I did get it back.

But during this time he states that he'll be off line to take care of some family problems for about one month. So, I was calling his cell phone which has be disconnected and not answering any emails or facebook messages but is still posting on facebook. I thought he was in Jail or Rehab or something like that. So I wait a few weeks and on his facebook page. His wife Cathy posts that he'll be back soon and if anyone wants a refund to message her and would get them out promptly. So I message her with the details and then I started getting the lies and false promises from her.

So now she won't answer my facebook messages and is ignoring me. So I'm into this company for $650.00 with nothing to show for it. I've now contacted the orange county Florida Sheriffs Dept, the Better Business Bureau, the Lietenant Govenor of Florida and the internet fraud dept of the FBI. And am waiting for the time frame for him to communicate back to these specfic depts to get back to me within the alotted time frames. So, in closing if you are thinking of buying a instrument from this guy/company think AGAIN. YOU"LL BE SORRY! And be out your money, this guy is a THIEF!

I formally want to change that I'm not happy and not in communication with Sean Jollie of Scarred Guitars.  His false promises just keep coming.....Excuse after excuse after excuse.  No refund or no guitar.  I'd rather just get my refund and be done with this guy.  Maybe I should charge him interest on the $650.00 that has had of mine for this long period of time.

Back in communication and happy.

Scarred Guitars has been in communication with me to finally complete my order and am happily waiting for my two guitars.  I think that Scarred Guitars are getting back on track and I will be ordering another guitar from them soon.  In my opinion, Scarred Guitars are back on track and ready to fullfill orders at this time.  GET SCARRED!
