SCBN Austin Texas Prescription Service Austin, Texas
I responded to a telephone solicitation: Very high pressure while assuring I was not making any committment until completed and returned the signed documents which would be mailed to me.
Before the documents arrived I called back and advised Brad Williams I did not want to enroll; it would be cheaper to use generic brands from local pharmacy.
He said to return the "packet" which I did, marking it, unopened, "RETURN TO SENDER".
They began billing me - once 8/24/2009 and again 9/24/2009. I contested the charges, following the procedures outlined by the credit card company. I also contacted Brad Williams and advised I had no intention of paying their charges.
The charges were removed. I was advised by the credit card company SCBN claimed the charges were correct, that they had offered the service, I had provided my MC credit card number and they would not accept a cancellation over the phone. . . it had to be in writting. Since I did not subscribe in writing, I refused to buy in on their excuses.
I returned additional forms received from Master Card reaffirming the charges were not legitimate. All they did was put the charges back on my card and charge me a 29.00 late fee. That too, is being contested.
I have again contacted the Master Card Credit Card company to advise of the situation. I have left a phone message for Brad Williams that if they do not issue credit immediately I will go to the expense of paying a lawyer and I will fill suit against the company for fraud.
I see there are numberous other postings describing similar experiences to mine. I hope this posting will help secure satisfaction.
