Sony claims that my disk drive is broken and requires a $150 repair when I haven't been using it for the last month. I, among other people, believe it's the 3.00 update.

See, I don't have a stable internet connection here at campus, so I can't really play Team Fortress 2 or Street Fighter IV. I've played SFIV maybe ONCE in the last month, mostly been playing MVC2, a DLC game(Which does NOT use the physical disk drive). So how exactly did my hard disk drive break? I honestly think it has something to do with the update, even if the drive is broken.
