Complaint Review: Scentcrafters LLC

I purchase a bottle of custom perfum, online, from ScentCrafters, LLC. I ordered it as a Christmas Gift for my daughter.

First, I did not receive a confimation about the orderd. I never knew if it woudl actually arrive. They do not answer their phone. It finally arrived just before Christmas and the bottle of perfume was broken, shattered, and had leaked all over the package. the package had been sealed in plastic by the Postal Service. the bpttle was packed in a nice velvety pouch, but shipped in the box with an inadequate amount of styrofoam peanuts.

I left messages & e-mails Scentcrafters, and they finally contacted me via e-mail on Dec 26th with appologies. I asked to return the damaged bottle for a refund, as I had to go our an purchase a commercial perfum for my daughter's Christmas gift. They asked taht I return the product adn packaging and said they would issue a refund.

After several e-mails requesting a mailing address I finally sent the product back to them I also went to the post office for them and included statements from the postoffice saying the package had arrived damages - so that hopefully they could make a claim for damage in transport. I also sent the package Fed Ex, signature required, so I know ScentCrafters received the return.

Anyway, it is now March 16th and I have not heard back form them or received a refund on my credit card. I have left them phone messages asking about my refund and sent them e-mails.

Don't but from this company. Thier perfumes may smell lovely, but their business practices stink!
