Complaint Review: Scentcrafters LLC

Simple rip off scam---This company scentcrafters or scentmatchers claims they can reproduce scents that are not made anymore so you send your last tiny bit of fragrance you were saving for your wedding day or something really important to them in the hopes of getting a reproduction of the original fragrance.  They take your $65.98 via echeck, so they get your bank account information.

After 9 months of letter writing and emails and even the Attorney General's office, I have gotten NOWHERE. I had to buy a replacement fragrance which is not made anymore on ebay for $250.00.  Now I am out not only the $65.98, but the original sample too.  I used to work at Estee Lauder and do know some chemists and should have known better when they made a smart remark of 'Why don't you just get your friends at Estee Lauder to make this for you?" after I complained after 6 months.  This company promised over and over and over that they were waiting for ingredients to come in and that one way or another they'd get it done.

Then they said they sent it out so what is my problem and so I asked for a tracking number and they have ceased and desisted in all communication with me.  They don't answer their phone, they don't respond to emails anymore. And just as an fyi-Estee Lauder only makes fragrances they can make billions off of.  They are thieves and liars and I hope that they get their karmic comeuppance as soon as humanly possible and that I get a ringside seat and my money back.  Let's all unite on this one, I know I'm not alone here...
