They are all young 19-25 years old - and they promise a lot, like making 200K in 3 years etc. I am young myself and desperate for income and I wanted it to be true so bad! I was so upset to find that all of it is one big scam.

they don't require resume, in fact they don't want smart critical thinking people with nice resumes, they want barely educated people without high school degrees and criminal pasts or single mothers who are desperate for cash and will believe in any promises, they call it "being big on second chance"

they repeatedly ask to raise hands if somebody is single mom or somehow else needs cash bad, and they repeatedly tell you many details of their own hard past, to just get you all excited and believe that NOW you began new life and there is no way back.

but from moment you enter - you see that the office looks very "temporary" cheap and not clean, loud music playing (must be for some brainwashing reason other then fun)

they say many times that you will be your own boss - all it means - you will be on your own and responsible for merchandise and any law problems.

they try to look promising and successful, but from their not polite remarks, cheesy jokes and overall behavior, you can see that they are just young, not very bright, not very clean people who are just as brainwashed as they try to brainwash you.

so beware, they will register many new names, as when new victims acquire new buisness licences - they register new names each time.

there is partial list of names here http://www.geocities.com/katarina_li/not_scentura.html

but it will always involve 4 things
1 - you call and they set interview, no need too send resume.
2 - you come to interview and office looks cheap and all people are young and dressed casual if not too casual, especially women. I like to dress casual, but I learned my lesson that it's not always a good sign.
3- the position description mentions "sales of perfume" but nobody can give clear answer what are responsibilities.
4 - they promise you upon completion of training a set stable salary of 570/week, but later on as you can see yourself on this website - it's all commission job.

they were probably getting bad reputation back in East Coast, so they are now moving to CA, TX, and even Canada.
