Schlesinger Associates UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT SCUM Atlanta Georgia
I was recruted in Atlanta for the energy drink study last Tuesday! I was told by one of the recruiters that the address was 5309 Peachtree/Dunwoody Rd. She gave me this address TWICE! I went to the address and come to find out that 5309 was on a DARK street with a house on a hill! I took the risk and went in the other direction even though I had to walk 25 mins to get to 5909 Peachtree/Dunwoody Rd!
After finding the place, I got there at 8:35 pm and was told that the focus group had already started! After I told them the situation, I had to fill out an incentive dispute form and wait 5 days for contact!Seven days went by and NO contact! I had to call them and was told my form couldn't be found (luckily I asked for a copy when I filled out the form). When I got a call back from Gloria, she told me that she could only put me in another focus group but the current one she was doing was filled up and she'll have to give me a call next week. I don't understand why
I just won't get at least half of the $65 I was suppose to get in the energy drink study? It is not my fault that one of their reps gave me the WRONG address two times! WHY am I being penalized? I have a feeling that if I was a middleaged white woman, I would have got fous group pay with no questions asked! But being a young minority I am treated untrustworthy! WHY would I waste my time PURPOSELY coming to a focus group late when I could have went there early (if given the right address), took the study, got the check and went on my way?
I would like to be compensation at least half of $65. Because it is not my fault I was told the wrong address twice! The focus group started at 8pm at night! I didn't mind that! However, If I was told the right address, I would not have had to walk in the dark only to find a lonely house on a DARK street with NO side walks! Also I cannot take another survey anyway because I am working and by the time I get off work, the place would be closed!

I think their "recruiting" tactics is a scam to sell your address and email to businesses!

Got a call from them a couple of days ago for a focus group on sea food. The group is suppose to take place on March 3 and you get $75. I qualified to take it but was called the next evening saying the "client wasn't able to use me".
If the focus group is actually taking place, I still think it's this companies way to call more people to get home and email addresses without having to pay for it! SCAM! No different then with online surveys that promises to pay!

The Incentive Dispute I has with the Atlanta based office three weeks ago was NOT resolved! Instead Erin called me back on Friday to tell me that I will not be compensated although I was given the WRONG address twice where the street I was told was led to a house on a dark hill where there was no sidewalks! I was placed on another focus group and I had to requalify! It was as though The dispute I had was ignored and if it did qualify for that focus group, I wouldn't have gotten compensated! Well I qualified but the girl who asked the questions said the numbers were "booked" and I she'll give me a call back. The focus group was for today at 5:30pm. Well I didnot get a call back even though I called Monday to ask am I allowed to show. I was given a voicemail with NO call back! I don't need to be part of a company where you're time is devalued in an unprofessional environment while your disputes are regarded as unimportant! The requalifying for another focus group is PURE BS! Because if you don't qualify for it, you are still not compensated for the previous focus group! It's like your dispute is IGNORED!
