I'm reporting schneider finance a "predatory lender" I applied to get a big rig with sfi in Dec 2006 I was approved to get the truck but sfi wanted to put me in a trac lease program. I got the truck on grounds that it was reconfigured and the engine was rebuilt and agreed to the 41,000 sales price with a 8,000 ballon on the end of the payments. I was ready to roll I worked on truck rail divison money was ok but hey thats trucking. I worked truck rail constantly going 2 or 3 months at a time without pay check's and If I did get a pay check It was running illegal dispatches. I got tired of this not feeling safe 15 to 18 hr days running hard I had to get some money. I went over the road with SNI (schneider national ) I made ok money constant money had a check every week until SNI contacts me and tells me due to safety concerns I have to return to truck rail . I wanted to stay but SFI told me what I could and couldn't do with the lease purchase truck . I had multiple issues with the truck and schneider maint is the only shop in the world where you put your truck in for certain issues and come out with 3 or 4 more issues. I did quit schneider last year 07 and tried working out a monthly payment plan but they only would accept weekly a little under 500 a week when it states in the book they sfi would work out weekly, bi weekly, monthly payments with the customer. I'm currently seeking legal advice from corp lawyer's and have plenty of drivers in the same boat im in (oh did mention truck was a less than a 2001 ) and finding drivers who were messed over by sfi and fight back so other drivers will not get sucked into the "american dream nightmare"

I too went to Schneider Finance and got an over priced used truck. I got a pay check the first two weeks and then I went for 3 months without any kind of pay. I wasn't even making enough to make the truck payments so every week I was getting deeper and deeper in the hole.

I finally got into the choice program where I pick my own loads and it took me 3 months to get out of the hole that Schneider National had gotten me into.

Another thing is that Schneider does not abide by the least agreement. If they want to take out an amount that is larger than whats stated in the contract they will. They have been doing that to me since day one.
