Complaint Review: Schneider National Trucking & Training Academy

Schneider National has invented an ingenious way to rip-off good decent folks who are desparately looking for a way to earn a decent living. Don't do business with Schneider! what they are doing is misleading, deceiving and dishonest.

Schneider promises prospective employees/scam-ees a job opportunity. You will be asked to submit a resume, take a drug test, get your CDL permit and provide all of your personal information (so they can bill you later for training that you will never receive). You're promised a job offer after the completion of the training (although you will never complete the 2-week training because they will send you home the minute you make one mistake).

Once you arrive at their training facility you will be asked to sign a contract that gives Schneider the legal right to sucker you. DON'T SIGN THE CONTRACT! The legal-ease in the contract says if you are discharged willingly or unwillingly you agree to pay them for the training ($3500).

Now why would a job offer turn into paid training? You can get your CDL A or B at a Community college.Why would you leave your state for training you can get in your own state for $2,000? The promise of a job is the bait and the training is designed to fail you so Schneider can take your money.

Sadly, Schneider is legally able to conduct business this way because there are no laws governing good training and if you sign that cleverly bogus contract, you'll be stuck with the bill in the unemployment line.
