SCHUMACHER CARGO, LIERS, UNPROFESSIONAL, KEPT MY CAR IN A SUB CONTRACTED WAREHOUSE - THEY STOLE MY WHEELS gardena, California
i shoudn't spend time writing on the BAD COMPANY Schumacher cargo..
Full of promises, they lied during more than 3 months, i couldnt find my car, no address, no mames. they claim they own warehouses ?? really funny since my car stayed at a disgusting warehouse in Miami while thieves take my wheels...
I had to fly over from FRANCE to make this situation move forward. i have talked to the CEO of the company, and himself was lying by telling me that they control the situation, the car left the port of miami.. bla bla bla.
how is it possible to tell this when you clearly know that the car is almost lost. My lawyer explained that they didn't want to lose customers, therefore they 'd rather lie and let you wait while your investment and loan for the car acquisition are killing you.
in addition to that, they invoiced me parking fees claiming that it was my responsibility to find my car and contact them since the beggining ???? who can understand that ?
i have never seen such unprofessional people, a company tha relies on air, providing a poorest service in the country and worse than anything, play with customer like puppets?
i strongly suggest you never deal with this company. all og this has happened summer 2009, it is still fresh and at the end, i had to use another transporter to ship my car, without wheels, stereo....at this day, i still can't see my refund has the do not take responsibility. interesting since i have their contract signed....too much money to fight for a couple grands... i decided to stop until i read that there are hundreds and hundreds of schumacher victims out there. people that are honest and paid in full the shipping while being manipulated for their wheel/stereo traffic business. !

I cannot identify our client or any details of the shipment for the purpose of replying to this review. I know this file was a particular series of events and opposing stories that did end up with our client experiencing a delay in the shipping of his car. We did not ignore the situation and did not lose any vehicle as suggested but rather spent a lot of time with the client trying to resolve any issues and manage their expectations. We do own our warehouses and we strive for the highest level of customer service and try to deliver our clients expectations on all shipments.
We ship over 18,000 cars per year. As a fully licensed NVOCC, we work within an industry where we do not control all aspects of the process; we will from time to time have files such as this, that do not run as smooth as others do. Shipping Automobiles internationally involves a due process that requires correct documentation and representation depending on the client’s status or situation. This is all explained in our quote and our sales people discuss with all clients prior to booking.
