Construction overspray Schwab Construction (Rusty Ray, Senior Project Manager) refuses to resolve on existing vehicles. Attn: Bob Schwab and Patty, hope all is well. I am reaching out to you today by email first as well as other contact sources to make sure you receive this. This is with regard to a situation in Winona at one of your construction sites downtown. There was overspray from one of the buildings on many vehicles. I spoke to Rusty, Senior Project Manager, he resolved some but now his schedule is to busy and he refuses to resolve remaining concerns and issues. I had my BMW covered in the spray which took hours to clean but I did it on my own. The second vehicle my SUV Rusty resolved and I was thankful. Now my 3rd vehicle a truck is covered in spray and Rusty refuses to take care of it because he is to busy. There are many others with the same situation that I mentioned to Rusty because some people asked me what was on their cars. I have been very considerate about the situation as things happen however this is the responsibility of Schwab or the subcontractor. I know Rusty has not been with your company for very long but is there anything you can do to get this resolved it would be greatly appreciated and I would like my truck clean. Car washes will not take it off it has to go to Dahl detail and they use a solvent to remove it. This is some correspondence from myself and Rusty below: Good evening Rusty sorry to bother you again man. I wanted to give you some info on the overspray thing. It appears it reached the other far lot too unfortunately. There was a tenant Cameron that asked me tonight what was on her car so I looked she thought it was concrete from the mixers but it's the spray. She said she has taken it through the car wash multiple times it doesn't come off it's on her windshield and the wipers won't take it off either. I then checked my 3500 truck which I have parked back there I don't drive it much but yes it's all over that too. Cameron is the only one that approached me but she said it's on a lot of the other cars too FYI. I told her the situation and wants to know who to contact so just reaching back out to you otherwise I can have her contact Schwab directly. Really hate bothering you again you are more than welcome to look at these vehicles and my truck it just sucks because nothing takes it off easily. With regard to my truck you are more than happy to take a look at it just run on over it's the big white dually you can run your hand across it you'll see. Even in the rain tonight I looked at multiple cars I can definitely see the spray on them. I can give Cameron your phone number she wanted to at least reach out to you, she is very nice And if you recall it's the same car that the concrete wall fell on the hood When they were tearing down the old house. Thank you, Kurt Angst Hi Kurt, I have agreed to take care of two more already. I personally won't be taking care of anything outside of what I have agreed to. It will need to go through insurance companies. This is a ton of work on my end and have reached the limit of courtesies I will extend. Thank you, Thank you Rusty, I understand but in the same sense this was not the fault of others or myself. As I mentioned before I did my own BMW and it was work but took it upon myself. I do appreciate you having my SUV done thank you. Is there any other possible consideration by you to at least have my truck done. I don't want to have to go through insurance I don't really want to take the time to do the whole thing myself as I did the BMW by no fault of my own. I'm not gonna worry about other tenants but I would like to have mine fixed if considered by you I would really appreciate it. Hey Rusty I know your busy I understand that, would it be more helpful if I just reach out to Bob or Patty directly regarding this as you stated because its a ton of work? Yes, feel free to do as you see fit
