I purchased a box set of smallville seasons 1-6. Upon receving the set the first thing I noticed is that season 5 was in a season 6 box. In trying to watch the dvd's, serveral of them skip, and some simply will not play. Season 5 and season 6 disks appear to have been recorded right off the tv, even has the "WB" logo in the lower hand of the screen, and the topper is a commercial in one of them.

I have attempted to contact the company on four seperate occasion via e-mail over several weeks, which is the only way to contact them, and the will not respond at all. There policy states I can not return if it is open. How else does one know that they did not get what they paid for unless you open it???

I now have junk CD's and no way to get them to respond to me.

I have bought 5 box sets from this company over a three year period. Of the over 200 disks I purchased I did have about 8 bad disks. I sent them to the company at the address listed on the site for replacement and about two weeks later got the new disks in return. Anyone purchasing a box set that reads the page on the site is told that the set comes from Asia, United States or the United Kingdom. Don't Know how you got confused unless you didn't bother to read the page! Cant speak to any other issues, I was treated as agreed on the websites terms.

First of all, selling bootleg copies of TV shows is ILLEGAL in the US, so you're on firm ground to obtain a refund from your credit card company - do NOT surrender the DVDs as they are your evidence of FRAUD.

1. Do a charge back with your credit card company because of FRAUD and ILLEGAL PRODUCT. Do not fret their BS TOS-they are violating the VISA merchant agreement with their "you agree not to do a charge back."" I suspect they are violating merchant agreements for the other major credit cards.

2. File a criminal complaint with the NYS Office of the Attorney General. You can file the complaint at the OAG website, but I would send a WRITTEN complaint.

OK, according to the BBB:

I would contact my credit card company for a refund due to ILLEGAL/FRAUDULENT product.

I would also file criminal complaints for fraud. You may file complaints with the Lockport police, Niagara County Sheriff, NY State police. You may also file complaints with the NYS Attorney General and the NYS Secretary of State. Since they conduct business on the internet, you should also file a complaint with the FBI (at the FBI website.)

Good luck.
