Complaint Review: ScootersFactory - Xxx-motorsports - Lance Motorsports

I bought my QG-216 dirt bike online from the ScooterFactory on 1/26/08. The bike came w/ a 12 month warranty, and I purchased a 12 month extended warranty for an extra $100.00... (total $1,209.34)
On 2/15/08, the throttle cable snapped and left me stranded 2 miles from home. (it was a long push home) I went to the website and found out that this throttle cable was a recurring issue w/ this model. I filled out a warranty form and sent it into the company. I also have sent numerous e-mails and made numerous phone calls to the company....No response.. Todays date is 9/15/08 and Ive still heard nothing from this company. The bike has sat in my garage for so long that the fuel lines and fuel filter have dry rotted, which are not covered in the warranty. The bike is made in China and impossible to find parts for, so, I am left w/ a $1200 + piece of junk that my 10 yr old son cant even enjoy....Buyers Beware, this company is truely a Ripoff...
