Ok, well I have been reading all the rip offs on this company. So I felt I needed to join. I'm not going to bash Scott, because MOST of the time, he has no idea what goes on... I am a former employee,I have worked there nine months. I came into work today , monday, And i had a few stacks of invoices on my desk, Warranty invoices, that i didn't even get paid to do. But was made to do them. Well i get chewed out, fine! Didn't care that the service manager didn't take some responsibilty for it. Was gonna go on my way and get straightened what needed to be fixed.

Then I get a call from my office manager, Asking me" What the hell", And i tried explaing to her that they were warranties, And next thing i know, I am getting "M****F**** this and M****F**** that, And how I didn't know how to do my M****F**** job. She also made it a point to bring up personal information, that was none of her d**n business. She said that was the cause for my lack of filing. I again said it was not, and that situation had nothing to do with this situation. By this time, I am really upset that I am even being talked to like this... , She has done this several times before... What right do managers have to think they can talk to anyone like that?
So I walked out & quit.

And more goes on there than people think! Like for instance, hours were cut to only 35, I was cool with that. But sometimes, there are times were you can't leave for lunch, or you happen to have to work over. I know there are dozens of time i have gotten nearly 40 hours , and were only paid for 35! ILLEGAL! And lets not forget harrassment! I know for at least the first 4-5 months that i worked there, The service manager, likes to talk bad about people. I am not very over weight. But one time i was getting popcorn for a fellow employee, And he said " you do know thats 40 grams of fat?"... I could go on and on about him...He had gotten better, but that's only because I was claiming his warranties for him. And everything he ever said or did is documented with dates, times, and witnesses. I know how to play!

I'm done I guess...Yep, there will be a comment on how i never did my job, and so on so on...But warranties were never apart of my job, and if i wasn't doing them, I would never have gotten behind... I have more than you know.

What goes around comes around

It is unfortunate when an employee - employer relationship ends badly

#11UPDATE Employee

Fri, April 27, 2012

It is unfortunate when an employee - employer relationship ends badly. Most managers try to protect the business as well as the employees - try but do not always succeed. In any position duties get added and removed as person develops within the organization and their talents and abilities shine. It is during this time that we either succeed or fail both manager and employee. In the heat of the moment we react without realizing the consequences employee and employer alike. We react instead of resolve. Its not always about who is to blame but how do we resolve the situation. This doesn't change your feelings about the situation and there is no way to go back into the past and change the situation. At this point there is not a resolution to be had but I do wish you the best.

Just an update:

#11Author of original report

Well, I will keep updating this instead of making a new one.
For starters: Today I had my telephone hearing with unemployment...
I have been so nervous about this because I didn't know who they would have for their witnesses... And what a bunch they were! Lets start off with the first: I have never said anything bad about him, EVER! But let this be the first... He flat out lied. Scott Evans himself. Just a week before I quit, Scott himself told me that I shouldn't be doing the warranties because nathaniel himself didn't even get 100% on them... But no, he turned it around, said he never told me that. Said that there were $22,000 missing in warranties, And so on... BS! Most of what was missing had to do with before I was even hired! Think about it, go look at the dates! I didn't start doing warranties until Nov... Maybe if nathaniel wasn't forging warranties they would get paid the first time...What would happen if you got audited again?? Too many messed up warranties!!Next onto witness Nathaniel: Tried to say none of his employees liked me...blah blah blah... When I got to question him, I said in reality all you have are techs & 1 service advisor.. How many times did your techs really come up to me? He said hardly never... I was like so how can they not like me??? Lieing don't get you no where!! He admited to making comments to me... Onto Josh, who said I bashed him on here...Poor baby! He was there for 2 months the whole 9 that I worked there... He didn't have nothing good to say?? He said he sat there and watched me that day, then I just got up and walked out.WRONG!!! I sat there and was looking for nathaniels stuff with nathaniel, nathaniel stepped out for a min. Thats when Lana called.. Ask one of the 2 women employees ... they were there for the whole conversation... I was crying so bad... What a liar Josh is!! Then onto Lana... why wasn't she even in the hearing?? Can't fight her own battles?? Donya don't know nothing!! Lana was the one who cussed me out several times, the office manager should have been there! Neither one of them were hardly at nissan.
Josh brought up this report! Come on now... You know everything I have said here is true. If it's not, write a Rebuttal to explain your side of the story... But your side is lying... And donya wanted to bring up the fact that i was too stressed out from an affair that I was having!?!? HEARSAY! Have you ever seen me with anyone? No one has... The hearing officer didn't even want to hear it. The reason I was stressed was because of the harassment, lies, minipulation, and so on... They all lied, Even Scott himself... Money gets you no where, And karma sucks!

Ok, i applied for unemployment...was denied... so I am appealing it. Well i went to SCOTT EVANS NISSAN today to get a copy of a harassment paper that employees sign when they are hired... I was told that if unemployment needed it, they would send it to them... Ok, so I went home and called the appeals office and they faxed a subpoena to our local career center for me to pick up & take to SCOTT EVANS NISSAN. When i got there i gave it to the general manager Josh Cherman & was told that they would get it to the appeals dept! It stated plainly that i was to recieve a copy of the paper as well! I was refused the paper... Ok, i was cool with that, because i knew they were not following orders! So i went back to the parts dept & was talking to the parts manager ... About 15 minutes or so go by & the service manager Nathaniel Oakes comes back there and says you need to leave all smilely.. And I said "what?", And he said " You can not be on the property because you and rodney bad mouthed us all over the internet" ... I was like omg, Nathaniel, I told the truth.... Nothing I ever said was a lie! And he called josh and told josh that I was refusing to leave, in reality was a complete lie... Here comes josh....He said that it was gonna get ugly if I didn't leave??? And I said josh, you never gave me the paper I was supposed to recieve... And again, he said they called the police... All this over me going back to talk to someone?!?!?! I never caused a problem there! They are mad because the truth is finally being told about that dealership!! They refused a document that i had a subpoena for?!?!?

OK, Here's how this company works: I bought a pair of running boards for my husbands truck , they cost about $330. I paid $50 down, and they were charged to my AR(payroll deduction). Within a few weeks I paid $45 dollars. So that's $95. My last check should have been for 18 hours(9 x 18=162). Add that up and you have $257.00. So i technically owed $73.00. Well I get a letter yesterday in the mail stating that I have 10 days to pay $95, Or the matter will be turned over to our local court system.

Let me remind you that these people technically owe me for hours i worked and were never paid for! And they want to threaten to take me to court? When I was there, they had an employee that they let come back several times. The last time he came back, he had work done on his car, about $800 worth. They loaned him a vehicle, did all sorts of things for him. When his vehicle was done, they charged it to his AR. As soon as that happened, he skipped out on them. So he still owes them.

The point of this is, they hound me for $95. Just 2 weeks after I quit. When they should have just wiped it out, because they owe me. This company is NOT a company I would recommend anyone to work for. But I have proof of everything.

So, as you can imagine, I am not paying. They owe me, And it can be proved...

They are money hungry....

in regards to the rebuttal above. I witnessed this call and the employee was very distraught and very upset and they way the manger behaved was ridiculous and very unprofessional. Lana should learn to have more respect for her employees, espically considering what they put up with!!!!!!!
