This guy tries to apply for a job with you, but when you look at the websites he submits they are using free templates, he is doing nothing for you. Avoid at all costs this rip off artist!
This is what he put in a resume, look at the bottom of oldtexaswood it says it is a free site!

I have known and worked with Scott Prendergast for over 10 years. He is experienced, proficient, and highly knowledgeable in web-based and back-end development. He can take a project from its original concept and deliver a professional working product on time and within budget. So much so that our company has further contracted US Joomla to add additional functionality to our website that integrates an online payment module with our companys billing system.

We actually had no issues with Scott and his company...He created our site (((ROR REDACTED))). Scott and his team was very professional and always available for support. Not only did he respond in the late evenings to request, but he created a complex database for us...I truly feel this company who's writing negative comments has a personal issue with Scott's company...If you have any questions or concerns about hiring Scott, please feel free to email me @ randy@westsiderentals.com. I have worked with Scott and US Joomla Pros for several months. They have been extremely responsive and professional in all aspects of the job. They are very knowledgeable about Joomla and any integration required to be done. I would highly recommend Scott and his team for any project(s) related to Joomla.

As far as the complaint, it is completely false.
The US Joomla Gurus are the most professional web programmers I have ever worked with. They will build websites from scratch or customize a purchased template to your specifications. I have had them do both options for my various client base with stellar results for either instance.
In general; they work within a budget and complete my projects on time. I have never been over billed or charged for work that was not completed. They are a stable fixture in my contractor base of web coders and programmers. I recommend them highly.

I agree we did the website for http://www.oldtexaswood.com, and yes, we used a 3rd party Joomla template as a basis, and yes, we have used this in our portfolio. We do many Joomla jobs using 3rd party templates, as well as creating custom Joomla templates from PSD files.
I do not see how any of what this person has said is a scam or ripoff at all.
I have no idea who this is, but I also have not applied for a job with them. But obviously, they do not know how Joomla works or how big of a part 3rd party templates are, and how much work it takes to
customize and configure them.
