Scott Scott A. Olson, CLTC Do NOT Work with Scott Olson Inland Empire, California Nationwide
Fellow Agents,
Do not get swindled by working with this so called expert in long term care sales. First off his commission structure is about 10 percent lower then every one else in the industry.
When I inquired about this to him he suggested,
You can either get 65% first year commission and sell very little long term care insurance, OR, you can get 55% to 60% first year commission and sell a lot.
Nice guy, hmm. I ended up signing up 2-3 contracts in the hope that Mr. Olson could help out in long term care sales. I was mistaken. Every piece of words out of his mouth was/is bogus.
What's worse is I had asked Scott Olson to release me of my contract and he did squat. I had to call John Hancock corporate to get some help. Bottom line I would work with this individual if he was the only LTC person in the game!

TO Whom It May Concerns,
I wish to rescind my orignal complaint against Mr. Olson. The facts to the particular situation were mixed up causing a mix up between myself and Mr. Olson.
Mr. Olson is an outstanding individual and anyone working under him will be better for it.
I apologize for any trouble it may have caused.

I've never worked with this agent
#5REBUTTAL Individual responds
Sun, May 24, 2009
The agent who made this post has never worked with me. In October 2008 he expressed interest in working with me. In early December 2008 he completed the appointment paperwork for only 2 insurers with me and chose not to complete the appointment paperwork for the other insurers I work with.
He never participated in any of my agent training sessions. Although I emailed the agent over a dozen times from January 2009 to April 2009, he never responded to me.
On Wed, May 20th, he emailed me requesting that I release him from one of the two insurers with whom he's appointed with me. I emailed him back and said that it was not necessary for me to provide him with a written release because he has never placed any business with me. On Friday, May 22nd, only 48 hours after requesting I give him a written release, he posted these false statements on ripoffreport.com
I would have been happy to have trained the agent to help him increase his LTCi production, but he chose not to participate in any of my training sessions.
I'll be happy to discuss this further with whomever it is pertinent.
