Maybe Scottsdale Police just don't have enough real crime to fight. Or don't want to bother with it since they can create something out of nothing with the abuse of power they demonstrate continually. I thought the police were supposed to protect the people, not prey on them. They have been known to pull people over for walking and id them as though for a traffic stop. Arrests for warrents that have been quashed.

Set up innocent people on the word of someone that was caught in the act of a serious crime, as though a credible word would come out of the mouth of the one trying to save his own butt. I could go on. Here's one thing they did to me, I had a warrent for unpaid traffic tickets. They pulled me over and arrested me, it took like a dozen of them. I first tried to use my maiden name knowing I'd have warrents. Stupid, I know. But they said not to worry, they won't charge me with that.

I went to jail, gave all my current information. Address, etc. I find out a year latter that I have a warrent in Scottsdale for missing court on a false information charge. I was never served with anything. I had no idea I missed court. Didn't even know I had court. I asked how this could be when all my current information is in the system and I am still at the same address.

Apparently they don't haveto make an effort to find you for a misdemeanor. How much effort could it have been? I'm right there in their system! They knew they were not notifying me of my court date because they never sent anything to me and they had my address. What happened to our right to due process of law? How is it the people entrusted to enforce the law are purposely violating it? They aren't protecting nearly as many lives as they are destroying. It's not just me, this is common practice anymore. I'd feel much safer without them at this point. Something is seriously wrong here!

I think that for a peace officer to make a comment that says someone needs help and is pathological cuts to the root of this issue. First off cops never went to school for a doctorate in psychology. I realize you need a degree to be a scottsdale officer but that in itself is a joke. Most of them goto school for the EASIEST DEGREE. My sources are very reliable and the escelation in police violating the law has increased. You are a peace force not teh military. You will never be anywhere close to the caliber of respect the military has. You should wait and think about what you say before you put your foot in your mouth. You think by intimidation you can acomplish what should be done by mutual respect. My advice is treat others as you would like to be treated. Remember you are just a citizen with a badge and you should check your ego in at the door before you end up hurt. For those officers out there that are in it to protect I thank you for your service.

Scottsdale PD is a joke!

One of the greatest things about being a law enforcement official is that you have the ability to use discretion when ever you may choose. The Scottsdale Police is a joke, the officers walk around Scottsdale as if they are so hard core and own the people who they have vowed to serve. Officers in the Scottsdale Pd prey on whomever they want and they give certain individuals a break who don't deserve a break. I know one officer in the Scottsdale pd, and for the sake of defamation allegations I'll just call him officer Doe. He has been known to lock up fellow officers from across the valley for suspicion of DUI who were never DUI. As a result of the SDPD officers actions, the cops who were arrested lives were totally ruined. I think what it is especially in a conservative state like Arizona is discretion is something very hard to come by for the most part cops want to hammer the s**t out of every one. There is such a thing as community policing, but when you want to hammer everybody in your community there's is going to come a point where you will need the assistance of a grateful citizen but since you have burned all bridges in the community no one will intervene on your behalf. So here's a message to the hammers of the Scottsdale police ease up on hammering people for the dumb s*** and go fight real crime.

you admit you had warrant(s)...were pulled over for SOMEthing or other in the first place...then LIED about who you were because you were perfectly aware you had the warrants...so what is your beef?...pay your obligations...or heres a revelation...quit getting tickets and committing more crimes by lying about your true identity...and magically your negative encounters with law enforcement should come to an end...was this a joke?...unreal.

Ummm let's see, you lied to the police when they pulled you over because you knew you had warrants, but you did not know about the one they were pulling you over for. It appears you have a history of lying. You are the criminal and "THEY" are destroying your life by not letting you get away with it.

Grow up! Get some professional help, you are pathological.
