Complaint Review: Scuba Shack Manzanillo

Just returned from a wonderful vacation in Manzanillo. Stayed at the Barcelo Hotel and as we had reviewed the internet before our trip, decided not to use the dive shop at the hotel.

Instead we went with the Scuba Shack as they say the are the only PADI Dive Center in Manzanillo.. More about that later

First impression these folks have been at this way toooooo looong. They simply do not care anymore. We could only do multiple beach dives, you have no choice unless its a big group or your willing to pay more to do so.

Store has a run down tired look and feeling and it should have been a clue as to the level of service. But hey we have traveled to many far off, places and true are not demanding. But the general lack of care and attention was beyond what we could overlook.

Anyhow, the website lies about being the only dive shop in town. There is another one Aqua Sports up the road from them, And there is a dive shop in the Barcelo. But they are in ownership transition and not really taking out divers right now.

To close this, we had a wonderful vacation in Manzanillo... its well recommended. But if diving is your thing.. DO NOT use the Scuba Shack.  Walk just up the street and Find Aqua Sports and Adventures..
